About Gillian Camm

I work with boards and the people on them. I also work supporting the development of individuals to become board members for both non-executive and executive positions.

About Gillian Camm

As a Level 7 qualified Executive Coach and Mentor, I have supported leaders and founders in delivering transformational change within their organisations. Leadership can be a solitary endeavour, and having the opportunity to discuss what is working and what is not can be invaluable. Planning the outcomes you desire and understanding how to achieve them is priceless.

I have worked with individuals at critical career junctures, whether they are moving up, moving on, or selling/exiting their businesses. This provides an opportunity to reflect on the implications for you as an individual and to begin planning your next steps.

I also collaborate with boards of directors, chairs, and chief executives to enhance board performance. I have assisted clients with issues such as:

  • Strategy Development and Clarification
  • Board Process and Culture
  • Board Reviews

Working with boards is particularly rewarding, as even modest changes can significantly improve board effectiveness, ultimately impacting the performance of the entire organisation.

My work is underpinned by over 35 years of experience working on and with boards. I have served as a Chair, a Senior Independent Director, and the Chair of both the Remuneration and Nominations Committees, as well as a member of Audit and Risk Committees. I have conducted governance reviews for organisations including Welsh Universities, the General Medical Council, and professional services firms.
